Curtius Technologies Inc. was one of the few companies specialized in trading pre-owned envelope-converting and envelope-printing machines represented at Drupa 2012 but was definitely the only company in the envelope industry actually rebuilding and upgrading such machines with the latest technology.

The Curtius Rebuilding program, which was the key feature of our booth, received extremely positive feedback from the 150+ international companies that paid us a visit. This thorough program, honed by 20 years of technical expertise in the envelope industry is a two-step process, which includes stripping down the outdated envelope-making machine to replace all electrical as well as all wear and tear parts and then adding state-of-the-art servo-technology upgrades to transform the reassembled machine into a fully automated envelope-making equipment that exceeds original performances at a fraction of the cost of new equipment. What’s more, all servo-technology upgrades from Curtius Technologies can be tailored-programed to match exact production requirements.

“All of our expectations were fulfilled” says Ludovic de Potesta, President of Curtius Technologies, satisfied with the Drupa 2012. “We were able to present ourselves as the only company on the market today offering custom advanced electronic upgrades on reconditioned envelope-making equipment, it’s a great opportunity for us” he adds. “It’s even more true now that leading manufacturers such as Winkler + Dünnebier are clearly focusing on inserting machines and digital printing rather than envelope equipment” concludes de Potesta.

Overall, the Print media business demonstrated once more at Drupa 2012, the world’s largest B2B trade fair in its sector with 314,500 visitors, that print has potential and that the industry is investing heavily in its future.

So a big “thank you” to all our customers, prospects and partners that helped us achieve our best show ever and see you in Düsseldorf in June 2016!
